Our version of baked ziti is the ultimate expression of comfort and indulgence. Tender pasta layered with rich tomato sauce, crowned with rich Stracciatella. Finished with creamy Burratini just before serving, it’s a beautifully elevated take on a classic—hearty, comforting and irresistibly decadent.

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and set the oven rack in the middle position.
2. In a large sauce pan, heat oil on medium- high heat. Add onions and cook until softened,
about 5 minutes. Add the beef and cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about
8 minutes. Remove any excess fat from the pan, leaving about 2 tbsp.
3. Add the pasta sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes. Add the Stracciatella and stir to
combine.
4. Add the pasta and season with salt and pepper and fully combine the mixture.
Add the mixture into a 9 x 11 baking dish and nestle the noodles in with the spoon.
5. Top pasta with Burratini by ripping it into pieces and dolloping it all over the top.
6. Bake in the oven until heated through and bubbling, about 20 minutes.
7. Remove from the oven and top with basil, serve hot.
