Air-Fried Burrata

Experience this delicious air-fried burrata, coated in a crispy breadcrumb crust for a satisfying crunch. Paired with flavourful marinara sauce and fresh basil, it’s an easy to make dish that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

  • 1 burrata
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp salt and pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¼ cup Italian style breadcrumbs
  • 2 cup marinara
  • 2 tbsp basil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the breading station: Mix flour, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Beat the egg in another bowl and place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Gently roll burrata in flour to cover completely, then dip in the egg and evenly coat, lastly cover in breadcrumbs. Repeat 1 more time for extra crunch.
  4. Place burrata on a piece of aluminium foil and then in the freezer for 20 minutes, this will prevent the burrata from over cooking.
  5. In the meantime, warm the marinara sauce in a pan.
  6. Once cooled, place burrata on aluminium foil in the air fryer and fry for 7 minutes at 350°F.
  7. Place the fried burrata in tomato sauce and sprinkle with basil.
